In June 2006, Curtis Field, Thomas Cull, and Michael Fraser were playing some local paintballers at an outlaw field north of Toronto, Ontario. After a few rounds of defeating the opposing team numerous times, they realized that there was some serious potential.

At the time, the team was not known as Shockwave, but known to few as Team Element. So far, Shockwave has gained sponsorships from Georgina Paintball, and local companies, as they pursue their goal to join and dominate the CSPPL.( Canadian Scenario Paintball Players League ) They have also recruited a number of very talented team mates along the way.

Shockwave currently plays at paintball field's all over the Greater Toronto Area, where they are well known, and respected by fellow players. They play with passion, integrity, honor, and constantly pursue perfection.
